April 15, April 22 and April 29 Ipswich meetings transferred
From Racing Queensland website:
The Ipswich meeting programmed for Wednesday April 15 has been transferred to the Sunshine Coast due to the current state of the Ipswich surface.
Racing Queensland CEO Darren Condon said turf laid on the Ipswich course proper as part of reparation works had not taken and as a result the meeting had been moved to the Sunshine Coast.
“With the April 29 Ipswich meeting transferred to the Gold Coast, that turf will have a month to take before it is raced on again ahead of its winter program,” Mr Condon said.
“The Sunshine Coast Turf Club has taken on the meeting and the decision has been made to put the rail out 14-metres.
As a result, there will be some distance changes and a QTIS 3YO 1400m added to the program. The distance changes will be advised of in due course.
New nominations are now being taken for the meeting and close at 10am, April 10, 2015. Acceptances will be 9:30am Monday April 13, 2015.
