Form and fitness can overcome weight for up-and-coming gelding.
Toby Edmonds says that the best of Fire Bomber is still to come but that does not mean the gelding cannot strike again at Ipswich on Friday.
At his eighth career start, Fire Bomber takes on the $28,000 TAB QTIS 3&4yo Benchmark 68 Handicap (1350m) in search of his third career win along with two placings with 60-kilos on his back which is not concerning his trainer.
"I think he can overcome it," Edmonds said.
"He's a big, strong Better Than Ready gelding so I don't think he'll have much trouble with the weight.
