Oughton clocks biggest win New

Melissa Kelly netted the biggest win of her training career when Oughton was brought with a perfectly timed run by Melbourne Cup winning jockey Robbie Dolan to win the Barrier Reef Pools Eye Liner Stakes.
Kelly said she was confident Oughton would run well given his excellent record at Ipswich and the fact he presented a fitter horse on Saturday than at his previous run.
Dolan said he also had confidence in Oughton, knowing how his style of racing was suited to Ipswich.
"That means a lot to these trainers. That's their Melbourne Cup,” Dolan said.
Strapper Les Kelly Junior cut one of the most excited figures in the mounting yard all day, jumping for joy after the family galloper saluted.
