John Moore was back in the winner’s circle at Ipswich this week with a well timed run with Kercharmer.
Officially four lengths ahead of the #itcmentalhealthmonth maiden handicap 1700m field at the line, the mare revelled in the softer conditions to take out her maiden win.
It was Moore’s first win back at Ipswich since returning to Australia a few months earlier.
The seven-time Hong Kong training champion has based himself on the Gold Coast since retuning and establishing a small stable.
Single Dizire followed in Kercharmer’s path to kick away in the second race to also finish a nudge under four lengths.
It was all about Single Dizire in the #thisisaconversationstarter fillies and mares class 1 who jumped and led the entire 1200m journey.
The three-year-old followed on from her last start win at Ipswich for the Tony and Maddysen Sears stable.
We’re back racing on Wednesday, 20 October.
